Notifying Revocation of Wilderness Areaβ€”Nelson Lakes National Parkβ€”Sabine Wilderness Area

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson Lakes National Park Board, in terms of section 34 of the National Parks Act 1952, by resolution dated 30 November 1967, revoke as a wilderness area that part of the Nelson Lakes National Park containing 8,700 acres, more or less, and being all that area in the Nelson Land District known as the West Sabine Valley, and bounded as follows:

Bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the west and east branches of the Sabine River and proceeding westerly along a right line to Mount Windward; thence southerly generally along the western watershed of the west branch of the Sabine River to Mount Mahanga, being a point on the summit of the Spenser Mountains; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the said Spenser Mountains to the eastern watershed of the west branch of the Sabine River; thence northerly generally along the last-mentioned watershed through Mount Franklyn to the point of commencement, and being the area as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, page 1689.

As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. N.P. 26B and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The area revoked will continue to be administered under the National Parks Act 1952, and subject to the Nelson Lakes National Park Bylaws.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Law Practitioners Act 1955

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 7th day of November 1969, ordered that the name of Kenneth Roy Horsley be struck off the Rolls of Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Law Practitioners Act 1955

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 7th day of November 1969, ordered that the name of Norman Harold Rawson be restored to the Roll of Barristers and the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, upon condition that the said Norman Harold Rawson shall not practise as a solicitor on his own account, whether in partnership or otherwise, until authorised by the Disciplinary Committee to do so.

Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to Lauritz Richard Nilsen, of Kerikeri, the lease of 5 acres of sea bed (lease No. 73) in Grullers Bay, Hauparua Inlet, Bay of Islands, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to Ian Douglas Hanna, of Maungaturoto, Keith Tari Byers, of Maungaturoto, Roderick John McKay, of Waipu, Pat De Labrosse Hanna, of Auckland, and William Charles Crump, of Takapuna, the lease of 10 acres of sea bed (lease No. 146) in the Arapaoa River, in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.
