Additional Land at Awatoto Taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:

Being
0 0 9.6 Part land on D.P. 30, being part Suburban Section 18, Awatoto.
0 0 9.6 Part land on D.P. 30, being part Suburban Section 19, Awatoto.
Both situated in Block I, Clive Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County (S.O. 5990).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 24215 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Kaikohe
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Kaikohe Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Declaring Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as a site for a school, shall, as and from the 9th day of September 1969, be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at that date.
