(c) Angle, yoke top with bronze or stainless steel seats, flanged 1 in. to 3 in.
(d) Valves, safety, spring loaded, screwed or flanged, ½ in. to 4 in.
(e) Fibre or teflon seats, screwed, sizes ½ in. to 2 in.
(4) Valves, foot, of copper alloy not exceeding 2 in.
(5) Valves, float (sometimes known as “ball”), of brass or other copper alloy, not exceeding 6 in.
(6) Sluice or wedge gate valves, cast iron, 4”, 6”, and 8”, double flange or spigot ends, hand operated waterworks pattern for test pressures not exceeding 600 ft head of water, not including similar valves with zinc free bronze trim (U.K. Specification B.S. 1218 class 1).
(7) Check valves (reflux), cast iron, 3”, 4”, and 6”. Standard type, for test pressures not exceeding 600 ft head of water, not including special non-concussive types or valves with external operating levers.
(8) Plugcocks, bronze, screwed and flanged straight through or 3-way, sizes ½ in. to 4 in. (but not sleeve packed plugcocks) | Free | 20% | 25% | 10.2 | 45 | 1/2/69 | 31/12/69 |
