Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land in Hokianga County

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 17th day of February 1969.

Declaring a Right of Way Easement Taken for the Purposes of an Institution, Established Under the Child Welfare Act 1925, in Block II, Waiopehu Survey District, Horowhenua County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement (right of way) is hereby taken over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, for the purposes of an institution established under the Child Welfare Act 1925, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with rights for Her Majesty's servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees, from time to time and at all times hereafter, to go, pass, and repass, with or without vehicles (loaded or unloaded), plant, or machinery, over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; such right of way to be held forever appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks V and IX, Puketi Survey District, Taumarunui County, for Road (Waihi Hill Reconstruction, State Highway 41)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Tokaanu and are there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
