Declaring Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Petone

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to Order in Council 1424, exempting Britannia Street from the provisions of section 117, Public Works Act 1908, subject to a condition as to the building line, for housing purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Petone from and after the 17th day of February 1969.

Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land, and Land Taken for Road in Blocks III and VII, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato and Raglan Counties

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares (a) that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject, as to the land first described, to the mining and incidental rights reserved by conveyance 402664 (R. 573/169), and, as to the land secondly described, to the mining and incidental rights reserved by conveyance 392837 (R. 551/512), South Auckland Land Registry, for soil conservation and river control purposes, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road from and after the 17th day of February 1969; and (b) further declares the land described in the said First Schedule to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 17th day of February 1969, and subject also, as to the land first and secondly described, to the said mining and incidental rights.
