Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Hawke's Bay and Borough of Havelock North

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Hawke's Bay and be included in the Borough of Havelock North. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within 1 month from the date of publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay County, containing 19 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the left bank of the Karituwhenua Creek and the south-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 1956, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Havelock North, and proceeding northerly and southerly generally along the western and eastern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 1956, to the north-western side of Brookvale Road; thence along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 7965; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of Brookvale Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 1956; thence to and along that boundary to the point of commencement.
