NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for
the issue of a certificate of title, pursuant to section 3 of the
Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963, for the parcel of land
described hereunder; and that such certificate of title will issue,
unless caveat be lodged with me forbidding the same within
3 months from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Application 5526, by Alfred William Henry Alsop, of Christ-
church, company manager, as executor of the estate of James
Piercy Stubbs, late of Palmerston North, hosiery manufacturer,
deceased, for all that parcel of land containing 0.9 of a perch,
more or less, situate in the City of Palmerston North, being
part Section 957, Town of Palmerston North, and being also
part Lot 24 on Deposited Plan 2565, and, further, being the
balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of
title, Volume 226, folio 158 (Wellington Registry), the regis-
tered proprietor of which is Henry Alexander Wunsch (also
known as Henry Alexander Winch), of Palmerston North, land
agent.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of outstanding
duplicates of certificates of title, Volume 25, folio 118 (now
2c/614), and Volume 58, folio 215 (now 1B/1075) (Westland
Registry), in the name of Alan Richard Batey, of Greymouth,
enginedriver, for 4.8 perches, more or less, being Lot 1,
Deposited Plan 1284, and being part Section 250, Town of
Greymouth, and for 14.08 perches, more or less, being Lot 2,
Deposited Plan 530, and being part of Sections 250 and 250A,
Town of Greymouth, and application No. 37875 having been
made to me to issue two new certificates of title in lieu thereof,
I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such new certifi-
cates of title on the expiration of 14 days from the date of the
Gazette containing this notice.

261 (Canterbury Registry), for 20 perches or thereabouts,
situated in the City of Christchurch, being part of Lot 87 of
the Christchurch Town Reserves, in the names of Ronald
Patrick Creedon, of Christchurch, land salesman, and Ellen
Creedon, his wife, having been lodged with me, together with
an application, No. 782216, for the issue of a new certificate
of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention
to issue such new certificate of title upon the expiration of 14
days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

1298, situated in the Borough of Timaru, in the names of
George Edward Carter, of Timaru, wool-store foreman, and
Olive Rose Carter, his wife, having been lodged with me,
together with an application for the issue of a new certificate
of title in lieu thereof; and evidence of the loss of memoranda
of mortgage 572986, affecting the land in the above-mentioned
certificate of title, Volume 469, folio 14, whereof John Robert
Dunlop Clay, of Timaru, retired hotelkeeper; Dorothy Archdall
Raymond, formerly of Timaru but now of Christchurch,
solicitor; William Barker Appleby, of Timaru, retired store-
keeper; and Betty Frances Scott, of Cannington, married
woman, are the mortgagees, having been lodged with me,
together with an application to register a discharge of the said
mortgage without production of the said mortgage, in terms of
section 44 of the Land Transfer Act 1952, notice is hereby
given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title and
to register such discharge upon the expiration of 14 days from
the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

(affecting the land in certificate of title, Volume 190, folio 35,
Southland Registry) and the said certificate of title, Volume
190, folio 35, for Β½ share in 599 acres 8 perches, more or less,
being Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block IX, Chatton District, whereof
Ernest Paterson Gardyne, of Waikaka, farmer, is the mortgagor
and the registered proprietor, and Robert Hill Gardyne, of
Waikaka, farmer (now deceased), is the mortgagee, having been
lodged with me, together with applications (a) to register a
transmission and a discharge of the said mortgage in terms of
section 44 of the Land Transfer Act 1952, and (b) for the issue
of a new certificate of title, notice is hereby given of my inten-
tion to register a transmission and discharge and to issue a new
certificate of title upon the expiration of 14 days from the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

society will be held in the Committee Room, Red Cross Hall,
London Street, Hamilton, at 7.40 p.m. on Monday, the 15th
day of December 1969, for the purpose of having an account
laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted
and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to
receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.
