PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waipa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

This order may be cited as the Eastern Southland Pest Destruction District Amending Order 1969, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Order in Council uniting the Pest Destruction Districts of Mandeville, Pukerau, and Glencoe Districts to form the Eastern Southland Pest Destruction District, published in the Gazette of 9 October 1969 at page 1938 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order is hereby amended by omitting the words “the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette” in paragraph (2) of subclause 1, and substituting the words “the 1st day of April 1970”.
