Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Pakuranga Motorway in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Mount Wellington and City of Manukau

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a portion of the Pakuranga Motorway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall effect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 23679, referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING at point “A” on the northern side of Waipuna Road 65 links eastwards along the northern side of that road from the westernmost corner of part Lot 16, D.P. 4413, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 22 chains to point “B” on the northern bank of the Tamaki River 300 links eastwards along that northern bank of the Tamaki River from the junction of a right line, being the production southwards of the eastern boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 40343, with the northern bank of the Tamaki River. Also, commencing at point “C” on the above-described middle line (A-B), distant 230 links south-westwards along that middle line from the south-western boundary of part Hamlins Grant (Proclamation 6901), and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 90 chains to point “D” on the south-eastern side of Tiraumea Drive, 60 links north-eastwards along that south-eastern side of Tiraumea Drive from the north-eastern corner of Lot 266, D.P. 48712. A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same, at the date hereof.
