A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt,
Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being desirous that the General
Assembly of New Zealand should be held as soon as may be, hereby summon the
said General Assembly to meet in the Parliament House, in the City of Wellington,
on Thursday, the 22nd day of January 1970, at 2.30 p.m.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued
under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of October 1969.
