23 OCTOBER THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE 2113
Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.005c in the dollar ($1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Horowhenua Electric Power Board district; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of October in each and every year, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid".
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held at Levin on the 15th day of October 1969.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electric Reticulation Loan No. 18, 1969—$400,000
"IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board’s Electric Reticulation Loan No. 18, 1969, of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board district and, for such purposes, to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.04c in the dollar ($1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Horowhenua Electric Power Board district; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of October in each and every year, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid".
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held at Levin on the 15th day of October 1969.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Extension Loan 1969, $200,000
THAT, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal and interest and other charges in respect of the Tauranga Electric Power Board Electrical Extension Loan 1969, of $200,000, authorised to be raised by special order under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of extending reticulation for supplying and distributing electrical energy throughout the Board’s district, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought five of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga electric power district; and that such special rate shall be payable on 15 October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years or until such loan is fully paid off.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Otamatea County Town Water Supply Loan 1969, of $40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitotara County Council did, on the 16th day of October 1969, resolve as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitotara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the provision of a water supply for Otamatea County Town, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.2212c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable (capital) value of all property within the Otamatea County Town (Otamatea Riding); and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wainuiomata Fire Station Loan 1969, $92,000
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 2 October 1969:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $92,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a fire station and ancillary works and fittings in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .085 (decimal nought eight five) cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Plimmerton-Paremata Water Reticulation Additional Loan 1969—$15,000
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 2 October 1969:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $15,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the existing Plimmerton-Paremata Water Reticulation, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .03 (decimal nought three) cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Taupo Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 87 of the Counties Act 1956, that, at a special meeting of the Golden Bay County Council, held on Wednesday, 10 September 1969, a resolution was passed, the purport of which is below, to take effect as a special order.
- The Council hereby adopts NZSS 1900, chapters 1 to 11.2 and various amendments, as a bylaw, to be known as the Golden Bay County Council Building Bylaw 1969.
