Land Proclaimed as Road, Land Taken, and Road Closed and Vested in Blocks VIII and XII, Pakiri Survey District, and Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, Rodney County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and that the road described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby closed: and also proclaims that the areas of land first and secondly described in the said Second Schedule and the areas of closed road thirdly and fourthly described in the said Third Schedule shall vest in William Proud, of Wellsford, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 512446 and 427194; that the areas of land thirdly and fourthly described in the said Second Schedule and the area of closed road fifthly described in the said Third Schedule shall vest in Leonard Frank Yelas, of Wellsford, stock dealer, subject to mortgages No. 502129 and A. 150795; that the areas of land fifthly and sixthly described in the said Second Schedule and the areas of closed road firstly and sixthly described in the said Third Schedule shall vest in John Birdsell Greenwood, farmer and stock dealer, and John Harley Greenwood, company manager, both of Wellsford, as tenants-in-common in equal shares; that the area of land seventhly described in the said Second Schedule and the areas of closed road secondly and seventhly described in the said Third Schedule shall vest in George Brian Baigent Brookfield, of Wellsford, farmer, subject to mortgage No. 509840; and that the area of land eighthly described in the said Third Schedule shall be incorporated in renewable lease R.L. 1795 (register book, Volume 635, folio 55), to James Henry Ward Beecher, of Tomarata, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 309034, 505331, and A. 25450.
