Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—LYTTELTON BOROUGH

Lot 114, Deposited Plan 4870, being part Rural Section 498, situated in Blocks I and IV, Pigeon Bay Survey District: area, 3 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 311, folio 11.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of October 1969.

Authorising the Purchase by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board of Certain Electric Works from the New Zealand Electricity Department

At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of October 1969

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the purchase by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board from the New Zealand Electricity Department of the electric works described in the Schedule hereto for the agreed sum of $4,180.

SCHEDULE

THAT portion of the Hororata-Addington 66 kV transmission line running on the south side of Buchanan’s Road from a point just beyond Gilberthorpe’s Road to Racecourse Road, a distance of approximately 1¼ miles.

Constitution of Rodney Hydatids Control District (Notice No. Ag. 10504)

At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of September 1969

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Rodney Hydatids Control District Order 1969.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the County of Rodney and the Town District of Warkworth are hereby declared a hydatids control district, to be called the Rodney Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Rodney County Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for that district.

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Whangarei Hydatids Control District Order 1969.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The area comprising the district of Whangarei City is hereby declared a hydatids control district to be called the Whangarei Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Whangarei City Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for that district.

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Taranaki Hydatids Control District No. 4 Order 1969.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the Counties of Egmont, Waimate West, and Hawera, the Borough of Hawera, and the Town District of Mania are hereby declared a hydatids control district to be called the Taranaki Hydatids Control District No. 4.

  2. The Taranaki Hydatid Control Group No. 4 is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for that district.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau and be under the control and management of the Manukau City Council.
