Consent of Minister of Customs to Importation of Coffee under Customs Import Prohibition (Coffee) Order 1967

Pursuant to clause 2 of the Customs Import Prohibition (Coffee) Order 1967*, the Minister of Customs hereby consents to the importation of coffee—

1. From countries which are members of the International Coffee Agreement for the time being in force, when such coffee is—

   (a) accompanied by valid certificates of origin, re-export, or transit, or other approval issued in accordance with the rules established by the International Coffee Council;

   (b) small quantities of coffee in such forms as the International Coffee Council may from time to time determine;

   (c) imported as ships’ stores or aircraft stores, for consumption only on ships or aircraft plying or proceeding between New Zealand and any country outside New Zealand:

2. The produce of Western Samoa.

The previous consent of the Minister of Customs under the Customs Import Prohibition (Coffee) Order 1967, dated 30 March 1967, is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for State housing purposes from and after the 13th day of October 1969.
