Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 by the Rangiora County Council (Notice No. Ag. 10494)


PURSUANT to section 22 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following resolution, made by the Rangiora County Council on the 8th day of August 1969, is hereby published.


RESOLUTION

PURSUANT to the provisions of sections 22 and 23 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Rangiora County Council hereby accepts responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and shall act together with the Eyre County Council and the Oxford County Council in the exercise of the powers and functions of the Act, as from the 1st day of October 1969.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Taupo (Notice No. Ag. 10495)


PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Taupo County Council on 26 August 1969, is hereby published.


SPECIAL ORDER

THAT the Taupo County Council, acting in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the Counties Act 1956 and the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, resolves by way of special order to declare the under-mentioned plant to be a noxious weed within the whole of the Taupo County:

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla).

Rock Oyster Farming Lease


PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Marine has granted to Kaipara Oyster Co. Ltd., of Whangarei, the lease of 8½ acres of sea bed (lease No. 112), in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specifications


PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specifications are being circulated:

D 120 Unplasticised PVC waste and soil pipes, fittings, and accessories.

D 121 Code of practice for the installation of unplasticised PVC pipe systems.

All persons who may be affected by these specifications and who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 28 November 1969.
