PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotions, extensions of commissions, transfer, and transfer to the retired list of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Promotion

Squadron Leader (temp.) Alan Laurie Lawless (75634) to be Squadron Leader, with seniority and effect from 1 August 1969.

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Flight Lieutenant Terrence Robert Whitehead, B.SC. (690605), to be Temporary Squadron Leader, with effect from 8 December 1969.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH

Transfer to Retired List

Equipment Division

Wing Commander Victor Graham Baskiville-Robinson, M.B.E., p.s.c. (70300), is transferred to the Retired List “A”, with effect from 28 August 1969.

EDUCATION BRANCH

Promotion

Flight Lieutenant Maurice Leslie Rendle, A.S.P.E.(N.Z.) (645147), to be Squadron Leader, with seniority and effect from 1 August 1969.

MEDICAL BRANCH

Transfer

Wing Commander Alan Neil White, M.B., CH.B. (U.N.Z.); DIP.OBST. (U.AUCK) (134242), is transferred from the Reserve of Air Force Officers to the Regular Air Force, with effect from 28 July 1969, and appointed to a temporary commission for a period to expire on 28 February 1970. He is transferred in his present rank, with seniority from the date of transfer.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Extension of Commission

Flying Officer Andrew Robert Wilson is granted an extension of his commission for a period to expire on 16 August 1972.

Appointment of Hauraki Catchment Board to Control and Manage Reserves


PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Hauraki Catchment Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as reserves for soil conservation and river control purposes.
