APPLICAON OF THIS ORDER
- This order applies with respect to all sales of herbicides,
insecticides, or acaricides fully registered by the Agricultural
Chemicals Board, excluding products packed in containers of
less than 1 gallon of liquid or in packages of less than 5 lb
weight of solids, and excluding any products containing aldrin,
DDD, DDT, dieldrin, endosulfan, endrin, or lindane.
FIXING MAXIMUM PRICES OF INSECTICIDES, HERBICIDES, AND
ACARICIDES
- Subject to the provisions of this order, the maximum price
that may be charged:
(a) to a retailer on and after the 28th day of August 1969
for any insecticide, herbicide, or acaricide, the subject
of this order, shall be the prevailing price, as defined
in clause 3 of this order, to a retailer, reduced by 42Β½
percent.
(b) to a user on and after the 28th day of August 1969, for
any insecticide, herbicide, or acaricide, the subject of
this order, shall be the prevailing price, as defined in
clause 3 of this order, to a user, reduced by 37Β½
percent.
SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED
- Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions of
this order, and subject to such conditions, if any, as it thinks
fit, the Tribunal, on application by any vendor of insecticides,
herbicides, or acaricides, to which this order applies, may
authorise special prices in respect of any insecticides, herbicides,
or acaricides, to which this order applies, where special
circumstances exist or, for any reason, extraordinary charges
(freight or otherwise) are incurred by such vendor. Any
authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply
with respect to a specified lot or consignment of insecticides,
herbicides, or acaricides, or may relate generally to all insecti-
cides, herbicides, or acaricides to which this order applies sold
by such vendor while the approval remains in force.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 127-New Zealand-
Australia Free Trade Agreement-Additions to Schedule A-
Vacuum Pumps, Other Kinds (ex Tariff Item 84.11.09)

At the request of the Minister of Overseas Trade, the
Tariff and Development Board proposes to inquire into and
report upon the question of whether those vacuum pumps
classified in Tariff item 84.11.09 should be added to Schedule
A of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement. -
The Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures,
conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law
Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on
Tuesday, 25 November 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m. -
Any person who intends to tender evidence should lodge
12 copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence, to be
presented under oath at the public inquiry, with the under-
named no later than Tuesday, 4 November 1969. To assist
in the preparation of this evidence the Board has prepared an
outline of the information required for consideration of repre-
sentations regarding additions to Schedule A of the New
Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement. A copy of this
outline may be obtained from the under-named.
