A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public roads are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 12 perches situated in Block V, Hunua Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part railway land; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23124 (S.O. 27106) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of August 1969.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waipara County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

ALLOTMENT 353, Mangawhai Parish (formerly part Sections 1, 30, 31, 32, and 33, Block IV, Mangawhai Survey District, Allotments N.W. 19 and S.E. 19, Mangawhai Parish, and part Lot 1, D.P. 11345), situated in Block IV, Mangawhai Survey District, and Block II, Pakiri Survey District: area, 1,521 acres, more or less (S.O. Plan 45626). As shown on plan N. 29/3 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
