SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED
- Subject to such conditions, if any, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal, on application by any retailer, may authorise special prices in respect of any Island oranges to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of oranges or may relate generally to all Island oranges to which this order applies, sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.
DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS
- Every retailer who offers or exposes any Island oranges for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the oranges to which it relates as to be obviously descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:
(a) The retail price per pound of the oranges. Retailers to whom clause 5 (b) of this order applies shall state at least the prices for 1 lb and 2 lb lots.
(b) The word “Island”.

Assignment of Foreshore Licence for a Cottage, Fish Shop, Garage, and Boatshed at Port Waikato

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Alfred Shepherd, deceased, on 24 April 1956* to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Waikato River, at Port Waikato, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a cottage, fish shop, garage, and boatshed is hereby assigned to Hector Ronald Shepherd and his administrators, executors, or assigns.

Revocation of Notices Declaring Infected Areas under Citrus Canker Regulations 1952 (Notice No. Ag. 10478)

PURSUANT to regulation 7 of the Citrus Canker Regulations 1952, notices No. Ag. 10152 and 10153* of the 8th day of November 1967, declaring those pieces of land described therein as infected areas, are hereby revoked.

Election of Grower Representative on the Potato Board

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Potato Growing Industry Act 1950, and under the provisions of the Potato Board Election Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the roll of growers in the Southern Ward who are entitled to vote for a grower member on the Board will be open for public inspection during ordinary office hours for a period of 7 days from the 20th day of August 1969 at the Head Office of the Board, Wellington; at the Board’s office, 188 Cashel Street, Christchurch; and at the offices of the Mid Canterbury, Temuka, Timaru, Taieri, Stirling, and Southland Potato Growers’ Associations.
Nomination forms may be had on application to any of the above offices, or from the Returning Officer, P.O. Box 6376, Wellington.
Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer by not later than noon on 3 September 1969.
