CORRIGENDUM

In the Proclamation dated the 26th day of June 1969, published
in the Gazette, 10 July 1969, No. 41, p. 1271, revoking a
Proclamation declaring areas of land in the Canterbury and
Otago Land Districts, in the Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation
District, to be wildlife refuges for the purposes of the Wildlife
Act 1953, for the word “Waikato”, read “Waitaki”, which
last-mentioned name appears in the Proclamation signed by His
Excellency the Governor-General.

CORRIGENDUM

In the notice dated the 9th day of June 1969, published in
Gazette, 3 July 1969, No. 39, p. 1209, setting apart Crown land
for road and for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road
in Block XIII, Rakaia Survey District, Ashburton County, for
“M.O.W. 2304 (S.O. 11202)” read “M.O.W. 23204 (S.O.
11202)”, which last-mentioned numbers appear in the notice
signed by the Minister of Works.

CORRIGENDUM

In the notice headed “Revoking appointment of honorary
beach ranger”, in Gazette, No. 44, of 24 July 1969, p. 1368, for
“Victor Henry Charles” read “Victor Henry Charles Pearson”.

Land Taken for Road and for the Use, Convenience, or
Enjoyment of a Road in Block XI, Mata Survey District,
Waiapu County

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use,
convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of
August 1969.

FIRST SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Mata Survey
District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

0 1 30.5 plan.
0 2 15.4 Part Waipiro A. 45 Block; coloured blue on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 4.9 perches situated in Block
XI, Mata Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., and
being part Waipiro A. 45 Block; coloured blue, edged blue, on
plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 22829 (S.O. 5813), deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above-mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
9th day of July 1969.
