PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer
required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 perch situated in Block I,
Otahuhu Survey District, Onehunga Borough, North Auckland

Portion of Bain Street in the Borough of Mount Maunganui,
Imposed by Order in Council under the Municipal

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order
in Council dated the 23rd day of April 1940, published in
Gazette, 2 May 1940, Vol. II, p. 981, and deposited in the Land
Registry Office at Auckland as No. 10235, authorising the
Mount Maunganui Town Board to permit the laying off of
Bain Street, Valley Road, and Riverton Road, subject to a
condition that no building or part of a building shall at any
time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a
distance of 48 ft from the centre lines of the said streets, by
varying the said restriction of 48 ft from the centre line of
Bain Street to a distance of 40 ft from the said centre line
in respect of the land contained and described in Lots 82 and
96, D.P. 28975, Auckland Land Registry.

service lane for the purposes of Part I of that Act.

Adding Land to the Tongariro National Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date
hereof, be added to and form part of the Tongariro National
Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt
with by the Tongariro National Park Board in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act.

Lot 2, D.P. 22586, being part Urewera 1c 4, 1c 5, and 1c 6,

Government Railways Appeal Board—Appointment of
Chairman

PURSUANT to section 91 of the Government Railways Act 1949,
I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby appoint as a member and as Chairman of
the Government Railways Appeal Board Leslie Norman
Ritchie, of Gisborne, to hold office from and including the 28th
day of July 1969 to and including the 27th day of July 1972.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
this 14th day of July 1969.
