Revoking a Proclamation Declaring Areas in the Waitaki Valley
Acclimatisation District to be Wildlife Refuges

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Lands (being the Minister charged with the administration of the department of State having the control of the land of the Crown affected by this Proclamation), hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 28th day of March 1963*, declaring areas of land in the Canterbury and Otago Land Districts, in the Waikato Valley Acclimatisation District, to be wildlife refuges for the purposes of the wildlife Act 1953; as shown on plan marked I.A. 46/29/55 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of June 1969.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of July 1969.

Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the
Ngauranga - Basin Reserve Motorway in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a further portion of the Ngauranga - Basin Reserve Motorway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area shown, edged red, on the plan marked M.O.W. 23292 (sheets 1 to 3) referred to in the said Schedule.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point marked 4 miles 14.8 chains in Block VI, Port Nicholson S.D., bearing 121Β° 23β€² distance 235 links from the south-western corner of the land in Plan A/976 and proceeding southerly to the south of Abel Smith Street to a point marked 4 miles 58.3 chains; thence south-easterly to the western side of Taranaki Street terminating at a point marked 5 miles 0.7 chains, distant 75 links from the northern side of Arthur Street, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands: part Section 450, C.T. 251/105; part Section 449, C.T. 351/59; part Section 449, C.T. 351/60; part Section 449, D.P. 3959, C.T. 253/4; part Sections 448 and 449, C.T. 351/57; part Sections 448 and 449, C.T. 446/67; part Section 448, Plan A/2866, C.T. 202/200; Lot 3, D.P. 899, and Lots 1, 2, and 3,
