Licensing Bernard Homersham Cowan, General Carrier, Haast; to Erect and Use Electric Lines in the County of Westland

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses Bernard Homersham Cowan, general carrier, Haast, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

  2. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and shall be an alternating current system.

  3. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the expiration of a period of 21 years from the date hereof or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

ELECTRIC lines commencing from the licensee's generator on Section 4548 and proceeding in a southerly direction by underground cable to supply sheds on another property.

All being situated in Block VII, Ohura Survey District, in the County of Westland; the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 771 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

The Riccarton Borough Council Electricity Supply Licence 1969

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses the Riccarton Borough Council, subject to the following conditions, to supply electricity to the public within the area described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967 to be implied in every licence to erect electric lines shall be deemed to be incorporated in and to form part of this licence as if it were a licence to erect electric lines.
