NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken, as aforesaid, lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely, for public street.
Every person affected should set forth, in writing, any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation, and to lodge the written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch, within forty (40) days from the 20th day of June 1969, being the date of the first publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch containing twelve decimal five perches (12.5p.), or thereabouts, being part Rural Section 38, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 126, folio 66 (Canterbury Registry); as the same is shown, coloured blue, on a plan lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch as S.O. 11177. This land adjoins the southern end of Ombersley Terrace, Christchurch, and will be used to provide a turning circle at the end of the street.

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Sports Ground Loan 1969—$40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing and developing land for a sports ground and erecting a grandstand, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.125c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council held on the 18th day of June 1969.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $800,000 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for part of the cost of designing and constructing a new waterworks pumping station and its connection to the existing reticulation system, together with the cost of land, the construction and installation of purifying equipment, the extension of the present reticulation system, the construction of further storage reservoirs and booster pumps, and any necessary staff housing, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of one thousand and three ten-thousandths of a cent (.1003c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 11th day of June 1969.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
——
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and eighty-one thousand seven hundred dollars ($281,700) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing preparations for reticulation of natural gas, including main laying, consultant’s fees, plant and equipment, and appliance conversion, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of four hundred and twenty-five ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0425c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 23rd day of June 1969.
