The Standards Act 1965—Standard Specifications Revoked

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 28 May 1969, revoked the under-mentioned standard specifications:

Number and Title of Standard Specification

NZS 187:1953 Ostwald-Folin pipettes; being 773:1953. (Superseded by BS 773:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

NZS 753:1964 Filters for use during welding and similar industrial operations; being BS 679:1959. (Superseded by NZS 2241, NZS 2242, and NZS 2243; being AS CZ7, AS Z7, and AS Z45.)

NZS 754:1962 Equipment for eye, face, and neck protection against radiation arising during welding and similar operations; being BS 1542:1960. (Superseded by NZS 2241, NZS 2242, and NZS 2243; being AS CZ7, AS Z7, and AS Z45.)

NZS 800:1965 Treatment of water for marine boilers; being BS 1170:1957. (Superseded by BS 1170:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

Part A12:1959 Determination of rubber-to-fabric adhesion (ply separation); being BS 903: Part A12:1958. (Superseded by BS 903: Part A12:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

Part A25:1965 Determination of impact brittleness temperature; being BS 903: Part A25:1964. (Superseded by BS 903: Part A25:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

NZS 1128: Parts H1 to H10:1963 Methods of testing rubber threads; being BS 903: Parts H1 to H10:1962. (Superseded by BS 903: Parts H1 to H11:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

NZS 1190:1953 iso-Butyl methyl ketone (methyl isobutyl ketone); being BS 1941:1953. (Superseded by BS 1941:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

NZS 1191:1953 Ethyl methyl ketone (methyl ethyl ketone); being BS 1940:1953. (Superseded by BS 1940:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

NZS 1539:1960 Cadmium anodes and cadmium oxide for electroplating; being BS 2868:1957. (Superseded by BS 2868:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)

Part 1:1961 Overalls made from cotton and other fabrics (excluding nylon and polyester fabrics); being BS 1907: Part 1:1954. (Superseded by NZS 2268.)

Part 2:1961 Overalls made from nylon and polyester fibre fabrics; being BS 1907: Part 2:1956. (Superseded by NZS 2268.)

NZS 1830:1963 Glossary of terms used in the rubber industry; being BS 3558:1962. (Superseded by BS 3558:1968 which has been endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand.)
