Rock Oyster Farming Lease
PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Marine has granted to Kenneth Nelson Bird and Fay Laura Bird, both of Wellsford, the lease of 4 acres of sea bed (lease No. 74) in the Oruawharo River, in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Rangitikei
(Notice No. Ag. 10443)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Rangitikei County Council on the 1st day of May 1969, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that
Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum)
is a noxious weed in the County of Rangitikei.”

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Price Order No. 2106 (Australian Oranges)
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, I, Clifford Ernest Beard, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Industries and Commerce acting under a delegation from the Price Tribunal, hereby make the following price order:

This order may be cited as Price Order No. 2106, and shall come into force on the 20th day of June 1969.

(1) Price Order No. 2070* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.
- References in this order to metropolitan areas are references to the metropolitan areas described in the Schedule hereto.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This order applies with respect to all Australian oranges sold by way of retail in New Zealand.
MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES
- (1) Subject to the provisions of this clause, the maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any Australian oranges shall be—
(a) When sold by a retailer carrying on business in any of the metropolitan areas of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin, or in any of the Cities or Boroughs of Whangarei, Takapuna, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Stratford, Hawera, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier, Hastings, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, Timaru, Westport, Oamaru, Balclutha, Gore, or Invercargill—17 cents per pound.
(b) When sold by a retailer carrying on business elsewhere—
1 lb, 18 cents;
2 lb, 35 cents;
3 lb, 53 cents;
4 lb, 70 cents;
5 lb, 88 cents;
6 lb, $1.05.
Fractions of a pound shall be calculated at 18 cents per pound. Quantities in excess of 6 lb shall be calculated at the rate of 17½ cents per pound.
(2) If in respect of any lot of oranges sold by a retailer the maximum price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot may be computed to the nearest whole cent.
