Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in Blocks VIII, IX, and XII, Waikari Survey District, Waipara County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto: and also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto and that the piece of road firstly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in John Murray McMillan, of Waikari, farmer, as to a one-half share, and in William Henry Foster, of Omihi, sheep farmer, and Ian Raymond Hale, of Christchurch, builder, as to a one-half share jointly inter se, as tenants-in-common in the said shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 545088 and 615593; that the piece of road secondly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be incorporated in the leasehold estate held by Bernard James Dwyer, of Scargill, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown renewable lease No. F. 74, recorded in Volume 541, folio 81 (Canterbury Land Registry), subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 361404; and that the piece of road thirdly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be incorporated in the leasehold estate held by John Pratt Barton, of Scargill, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown renewable lease No. F. 73, recorded in Volume 541, folio 76 (Canterbury Registry), subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 359180, Canterbury Land Registry.
