Pursuant to the provisions of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of representatives of local authorities within the Wairarapa Licensing District, held on 20 May 1969, the following qualified persons were duly elected as members of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee:

NOTICE DECLARING PORT HILLS ROAD TO BE A LIMITED ACCESS ROAD

It is notified that the Heathcote County Council, by resolution passed by way of special order, dated 24 April 1969, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of Port Hills Road within Heathcote County, from the intersection with Curries Road to the intersection with Butts Valley Road, more particularly shown on plan No. M. 1074B, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Heathcote County Council, Christchurch, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

MINING ACT 1926

DUNCAN THOMAS SUTHERLAND, of Macraes Flat, farmer, and GLADYS SUTHERLAND, his wife, give notice that they have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell, to divert three heads of water from Camp Creek. The race commences in Section 2, Block VII, Highlay District, on the western bank of Camp Creek, about 800 yd above Section 4, Block VII, and thence through abandoned races and dams in a southerly direction to an unnamed creek, thence down unnamed creek and abandoned tail race to applicants' leasehold land.

The application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on the 17th day of June 1969. Objections must be filed in the Registrar's office and notified to applicants at least 3 days before the time so appointed.

ADMINISTRATION ACT 1952

ESTATE OF LEONARD HAMPTON DUFFIELD

In the matter of Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, the estate of Leonard Hampton Duffield, late of Christchurch, restaurant proprietor, deceased, was ordered to be administered under the provisions of Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, on the 21st day of May 1969. Creditors' meeting will be held at 96 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of June 1969, at 10.30 a.m.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

"An Act to authorise the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington to partially close a burial ground in the grounds of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church situate at Pine Avenue, Upper Hutt, to remove all headstones, monuments, and grave surrounds erected in the said burial ground and to erect a monument common to all persons interred in the said burial ground."

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington, having the control and management of the private burial ground situate at Pine Avenue, Upper Hutt, adjacent to St. Joseph's Church, hereby gives notice that he intends to promote a Private Bill in the House of Representatives for the purpose of closing the said burial ground and discontinuing burials therein except for burials in plots which have been sold prior to the passing of the Bill and also for the purpose of removing all monuments and tablets erected therein and replacing same with one suitably inscribed monument recording the names of the persons buried in the said burial ground. A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of Messrs De Joux and Ryan, Solicitors, Bank of New Zealand Building, Main Street, Upper Hutt, and all communications or notices should be forwarded to that address.
