IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of
Foster's Hotel Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), notice is hereby
given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-
named company, held on the 8th day of May 1969, the
following special resolution was passed by the company,
namely:

That the company be wound up voluntarily.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution and of
Appointment of Liquidator

IN the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act
1908, and in the matter of Wellington Co-operative Book
Society Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), notice is hereby given
that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the above society,
held on the 1st day of May 1969, the following extraordinary
resolution was passed by the society, namely:

"1. That the society cannot, by reason of its liabilities, con-
tinue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up; and that,
accordingly, the society be wound up voluntarily.

"2. That Phillip Arthur Verry, public accountant, of
Wellington, be appointed liquidator of the society."

NOTE-The appointment made in (2) above was confirmed
at a meeting of creditors held on the 2nd day of May 1969.

Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

IN the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act
1908, and in the matter of Wellington Co-operative Book
Society Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation) (Modern Books Ltd.),
notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of
Wellington Co-operative Book Society Ltd., which is being
voluntarily wound up, does hereby fix the 30th day of May
1969 as the day on or before which the creditors of the society
are to furnish to the liquidator particulars of their debts or
claims and to establish any title they may have to priority
under section 15 (a) of the Industrial and Provident Societies
Act 1908 (as under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955), or
to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before
the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting
to the distribution.

Footwear Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), notice is hereby
given that the final meeting of the shareholders of the above
company will be held in the boardroom of Pickles, Perkins,
and Hadlee, Ninth Floor, B.N.Z. House, Cathedral Square,
Christchurch, on Thursday, 12 June 1969, at 10.30 a.m., to
conduct the following business:

  1. To receive and, if thought fit, to adopt the final accounts
    of the liquidator, prepared pursuant to section 291 (1) of the
    Companies Act 1955.

  2. General.

Notice is also given that the final meeting of creditors of the
above-named company will be held in the boardroom of

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
11th day of April 1969, presented to the said Court by ERLE
HERBERT FARRELLY of Boundary Road, Papatoetoe, supervisor,
AND THAT the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting a Auckland on the 30th day of May 1969, at 10
