Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block I,
Punakitere Survey District, Hokianga County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the
Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the post office at Kaikohe and is there open for inspection;
and that any person affected by the said taking of the said land
should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said
land, not being objections to the amount or payment of
compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the
written objection within 40 days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington, and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector
otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.

The land to be taken is a narrow strip of Mr M. Edwards’
property in use as part of State Highway No. 12 at Taheke.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 27 perches situated in Block
I, Punakitere Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being
part Lot 4, D.P. 4139; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23134 (S.O. 44805)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured sepia.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further
given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post office at Te Kuiti and is there open for
inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the
said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of
compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written
objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice,
to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public
hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector

ALL that piece of land containing 4 acres 3 roods 33.4 perches
situated in Block II, Totoro Survey District, being part
Maraetaua 7b Block; as the same is more particularly deline-
ated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23160 (S.O. 9921) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured sepia.

Notice of Intention to Take Easements over Land for the
Purposes of a Tourist and Health Resort in Block X, Puketi
Survey District, Taupo County (Tokaanu Hotel Water
Supply, and Access Thereto)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take, first, an easement over
the land described in the First Schedule hereto, for the
purposes of a tourist and health resort, vesting in Her Majesty
the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority
in perpetuity to take water from an intake area situated on the
land first described in the said First Schedule and to lay,
construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and
maintain a line of pipes, and also a concrete lined intake
chamber, under, along, over, and across the said land and to
use the said line of pipes and intake chamber for the unim-
peded conveyance of an adequate and unpolluted supply of
water to the reservoir situated on the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto, together with the right to construct,
reconstruct, maintain, and repair a reservoir or reservoirs on or
in the land described in the said Second Schedule together with
a line or lines of pipes over, under, and across the said land; and,
secondly, an easement of right of way over the land described
in the said First and Second Schedules, for the purposes of a
tourist and health resort, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the
full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity
to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her
Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees to
go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals
and vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and
keep open the said right of way: and notice is hereby further
given that the plan of the land over which the easements are
required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Tokaanu
and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by
the taking of the said easements should, if they have any
objections to the taking of the said easements, not being
objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set
forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within
40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister
of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.

Cancellation of Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister
of Marine hereby gives notice that the lease of 5 acres of
foreshore in Tauhoa River, Kaipara Harbour, for the cultiva-
tion of rock oysters, granted to William George Morgan*
(Lease No. 3), has been cancelled.

Licensing Hugh Blain Barrow to Occupy a Site for a Pile
Breastwork in Whitianga Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Hugh Blain Barrow (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include his successors or
assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to
use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Whitianga
Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13349 and deposited
in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the
purpose of maintaining thereon a pile breastwork, as shown on
the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the
licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth
in the Schedule hereto.
