Exemption from Tyre Tread Depth—Earth-moving Vehicles
PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956
, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts from the requirements of regulation 44A, subclause 2, relating to a minimum tread depth for pneumatic tyres, vehicles designed and used exclusively or principally for road construction and earth-moving purposes.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Whangarei (Notice No. Ag. 10411)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order made by the Whangarei County Council on 11 April 1969, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves and declares that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being a plant mentioned in the First Schedule to the said Act) is a noxious weed within the County of Whangarei.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice is now subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by subsequent order of the Maori Land Court the appellation of that land has been changed and it is now known by the description set out in the said Second Schedule; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; now therefore pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1969, No. 8.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

  5. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

    Maori Land Development Notice
    WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice is subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the area of that land has been altered as a result of survey; and whereas it is desired to replace the notice aforesaid by a further notice showing the area of the said land as disclosed by the said survey; now therefore the Board of Maori Affairs acting pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.
    NOTICE
  6. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 26.
  7. The land described in the Second Schedule is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
  8. This notice is issued in replacement of the notice referred to in the First Schedule which is hereby revoked.
