BOUNDARIES OF PERIA RIDING OF MATAMATA COUNTY
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XII, Wairere Survey District, in the middle of the Mangapapa River and the middle of Landsdowne Road, and proceeding south-easterly generally along the middle of that road and its production to the eastern side of the Rotorua Branch Railway; thence southerly along that eastern side to the northern boundary of Matamata Borough, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1934, p. 3772; thence westerly and southerly generally along the northern and generally western boundaries of Matamata Borough to the eastern side of the Rotorua Branch Railway; thence southerly along that side to a point in line with the middle of Puketutu Road, in Block VI, Tapapa Survey District; thence to and along the middle of that road to the middle of Matai Road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 19658; thence to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 19658, and its production to the middle of the Mangapapa River, being on the western boundary of Matamata County, as hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along that county boundary to the point of commencement. Also Sections 1 and 3, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District.

New Zealand Dairy Board—Notice of Election of Members for South Auckland, Southern, and Taranaki Wards
I, Jack Lionel Wright, Returning Officer, appointed under section 10 of the Dairy Board Act 1961, do hereby give notice of a poll to elect a member for the South Auckland Ward and a member for the Southern Ward and a member for the Taranaki Ward No. 2 on the New Zealand Dairy Board: and I do hereby give further notice that Wednesday, 16 April 1969, is the date on which the rolls of electors for these wards shall be closed that the nominations of candidates for the election of one member for each of the said wards must be in my hands by noon on Wednesday, 21 May 1969; and that, in the event of more than one candidate being nominated in any of the said wards, a poll will be held and such poll will be closed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 25 June 1969.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 96—New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement—Additions to Schedule A

At the request of the Minister of Overseas Trade, the Tariff and Development Board proposes to inquire into and report upon the question whether fencing posts, standards and droppers and fasteners for use therewith, of iron or steel classified in Tariff item 73.40.46, should be added to Schedule A of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement.

For the purpose of taking evidence, the Board will hold a public inquiry, commencing at 10.30 a.m. on 12 June 1969, in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.

Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered should be lodged with the under-named not later than 29 May 1969, and the “Notes for Guidance of Witnesses”, which have been prepared by the Board, may be found of assistance. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the under-named. Each statement will need to be presented under oath at the public inquiry by the person tendering it.

Describing the Boundaries of the Manawatu Combined Abattoir District and Specifying the Feilding Borough Council as the Controlling Authority of the Said District (No. Ag. 10403)
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1964 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, notice is hereby given as follows:
- There is established on and from 14 April 1969 the Manawatu Combined Abattoir District, which shall comprise the districts as constituted from time to time of the following authorities:
(i) The Feilding Borough Council;
(ii) The Marton Borough Council; and
(iii) The Palmerston North City Council; that area of the Rangitikei County Council described in Schedule I hereto; and that part of Oroua County described in Schedule II.
- The Feilding Borough Council shall be the controlling authority of the said abattoir district.
SCHEDULE I
ALL that portion of the district of the County of Rangitikei constituted as the Bulls County Town by special order of the Council of the said county, pursuant to section 416 of the Counties Act 1956, being also the Bulls Riding of the said county, comprising all that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 50, D.P. 402; thence northerly along the western boundary of that lot, the abutment of a road, and the western boundaries of Lots 44, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, and 32, D.P. 402, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12, Deeds Plan 463; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11, Deeds Plan 463, to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of that lot, Lot 9, and part Block II, Rangitikei District, as shown on the said Deeds Plan 463, and Lot 1, Deeds Plan 328, to the south-eastern side of the Scotts Ferry - Bulls Main Highway; thence north-easterly along that highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 1753; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to the northernmost corner of that lot; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 1753, and its production across Johnston Street, along the north-eastern side of that street to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 8526, to and along part of the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 5674, to the southernmost corner of that part of Block III, Rangitikei District, as shown on D.P. 12006, along the south-eastern boundaries of that land to and along the western side of the Wanganui - Levin State Highway to the south-eastern corner of Lot 9, Deeds Plan 57, across the aforesaid highway to the westernmost corner of the land as shown on S.O. Plan 20754; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of that land and Lot 1, D.P. 14199, the southern and south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 11827, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across the Waiouru - Bulls State Highway; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that highway to the south-western side of the closed road formerly comprised in C.T. 190/125; thence south-westerly along that side of the said closed road and its production to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence south-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 50, D.P. 402, aforesaid; thence northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of the said Lot 50, being the point of commencement.
