PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, extension of date for retirement, extension of age for retirement, transfers, transfer to retired list, and resignation of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH

Appointment

Flight Lieutenant John Leslie Wood (79365) is granted a permanent commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, with effect from 10 February 1969.

Resignation

Squadron Leader Arthur David Malcolm Winkelmann, A.F.C., cfs (33171), is permitted to resign his commission, with effect from 20 January 1969, on joining the Royal Australian Air Force.

Transfers to Retired List

Air Commodore Kenneth William Trigance, O.B.E., D.F.C., psc (70022), is transferred to the Retired List “A”, with effect from 5 March 1969.

Squadron Leader Robert Francis Lafferty, psc (72264), is transferred to the Retired List “A”, with effect from 9 May 1969.

Squadron Leader Cedric Rex Carter, M.B.E. (70473), is transferred to the Retired List “A”, with effect from 7 January 1969.

Flying Officer Murray William Crawford (80619) is transferred from the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period ending 8 January 1973, with effect from 12 February 1969.
