Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and Land
Taken in Block X, Waikari Survey District, Waipara County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby pro-
claims as closed the portions of road described in the Second
Schedule hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the
Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of
the said section 29; also hereby declares that the portion of
road firstly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when
so closed, vest in Cuthbert John Leach, of Scargill, farmer;
and also hereby declares that the portions of road secondly
and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule, when so
closed, and the land described in the said Third Schedule shall
vest in George Gregor Gardner, of Scargill, farmer.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and
Road Closed and Incorporated in Renewable Lease in
Blocks V and VII, Pomahaka Survey District, Clutha
County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto: also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto and declares that the road first described in the said
Second Schedule shall be incorporated in renewable lease No.
R.L.F. 109, recorded in Volume 377, folio 111, Otago Land
Registry, and held by William Alexander Gordon, of Clinton,
farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 160935,
Otago Land Registry, and statutory land charge No. 22136,
Otago Land Registry; that the road secondly described in the
said Second Schedule shall vest in Albert James Murray Labes,
of Green Island, butcher, two-thirds share, and Rachel Both-
wick Labes, his wife, one-third share, as tenants-in-common,
subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 226381, 286794, and
226382, Otago Land Registry; and that the road thirdly and
lastly described in the said Second Schedule shall vest in Rennie
