WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, to take land for a road, and, for the purpose of such work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required for such public work is deposited in the offices of Messrs Armstrong, Barton, Latham, and Hankins, Solicitors, 16 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, and is open for inspection by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of such public work, who have any objection they may wish to make thereto, must state their objection in writing and deliver it to the clerk at the Wanganui County Council, at Wanganui, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Christchurch Drainage Board, a body corporate constituted by the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, proposes to execute a public work, namely, sludge disposal, being part of works for the disposal of sewage from the Christchurch Drainage District, as defined by the said Act; and, for the purpose of such public work, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that every person affected shall set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send such written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, the Christchurch Drainage Board, 233 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch.
