Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land


PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 24th day of March 1969.

ALL that piece of land in the Westland Land District containing 29.8 perches, situated in the Borough of Kumara, Westland R.D., being Reserve 2021 (formerly part Reserve 219), Town of Kumara; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156574 (S.O. 4788) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Amending Notice Licensing Kenley Water Ski Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp in Henderson Creek, Waitemata Harbour


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence issued* to Kenley Water Ski Club (Incorporated) to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of Henderson Creek, Waitemata Harbour, as a site for a boat ramp, by:

(a) in the third condition of the Schedule, deleting the symbols “6” and “$6” and substituting therefor the symbols “10” and “$10”, and

(b) after the third condition of the Schedule adding the following conditions:

“4. Every person who uses the boat ramp for launching any vessel and who is not a member of the Kenley Water Ski Club (Incorporated) shall pay the following dues to the Club:

(a) For each time a vessel is launched, 30c

(b) For a season authority issued for a period of 2 weeks, $3.50.

  1. There shall be free use and access for payers of dues upon payment of the prescribed dues, and free liberty at all reasonable times to use the boat ramp.

  2. The revenue from the dues shall be used for the maintenance and improvement of the boat ramp and amenities directly related to it, and to meet supervision and administrative costs.”

Revocation of a Foreshore Licence in Tamaki River


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to the Subritzky Shipping Line Ltd. on 12 July 1966*, and subsequently amended on 18 October 1966†, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Tamaki River for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a vehicular ramp, as shown on plan M.D. 12416, is revoked.

Notice of Amendment of Licence to the Auckland City Council


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence issued to the Auckland City Council* to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the Waitemata Harbour, at St. Helier’s Bay, by deleting the expression “M.D. 11530” and substituting the expression “M.D. 13311” therefor.

The Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1969


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 17th day of July 1958†, which relates to Ellesmere County (formerly Selwyn County), at Dunsandel, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Ellesmere County, at Dunsandel:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 24 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Dunsandel-Hororata Road to a point 12 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said road).

Dunsandel-Hororata Road (from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 24 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

Declaration That a Reserve Shall be Subject to Part IV of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and Addition of the Reserve to the Wanganui River Scenic Reserves


PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto to be a scenic reserve, subject to Part IV of the said Act; and, further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Wanganui River Scenic Reserves, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Wanganui River Scenic Board.
