β¨ Land Proclamation and Closure
Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and
Land Taken in Block XV, Opuha Survey District, Mackenzie
County
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road
the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby
proclaims as closed the portions of road described in the
Second Schedule hereto; also hereby declares that the portion
of road firstly described in the said Second Schedule shall,
when so closed, be incorporated in the leasehold estate held
by Benjamin Jones, of Fairlie, farmer, under and by virtue
of Crown leasehold No. S. 2415, recorded in Volume 162,
folio 131 (Canterbury Land Registry), and, further, hereby
declares that the portion of road secondly described in the
said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be added to the
land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, and, further,
hereby declares that the portion of road thirdly described in the
said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in R. A. Ben-
nett and Sons Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its
registered office at Timaru: and also takes the land described
in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection
(6) of the said section 29.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XV, Opuha Survey
District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 22966 (S.O. 10628) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above-mentioned.
FOURTH SCHEDULE
CANTEBURBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 4 perches
situated in Block XV, Opuha Survey District, Canterbury
R.D., being Reserve 2390.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed in Blocks XV
and XVI, Coast Survey District, Bruce County
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
and declares that the road first to fourthly described in the
said Second Schedule shall vest in Cecil Valentine Davis, of
Milton, farmer, two-thirds share and the Trustees Executors
and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited, and Catherine
Christine Davis, wife of Cecil Valentine Davis, one-third
share jointly inter se, as tenants in common, all the lands
first to fourthly described in the said Second Schedule hereto
when vested to be subject to Memorandum of Mortgage No.
145804, and the one-third share mentioned above to be sub-
ject to Memorandum of Mortgage No. 230025, Otago Land
Registry.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby
proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto is closed and shall vest in Maurice Omond Meiklejohn,
of North Taieri, farmer.
