Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VI, Marotiri Survey District, Taupo County, for Road (Western Bay Road on the West Taupo Access Road)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Taupo and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Revoking Foreshore Licences at Whangaparapara Harbour

NOTICE is hereby given that the licences issued pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, authorising W. A. Balsillie (assigned to Hauraki Whaling Ltd., and further assigned to Barrier Whaling Co. Ltd.), to erect a whale ramp*, Barrier Whaling Co. Ltd., to place a mooring block†, and Barrier Whaling Co. Ltd. to erect a retaining wall and wharf†, all in Whangaparapara Harbour, are revoked.

Licensing Steel Protection (1965) Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Ramp, Wall, Mooring Block, and Wharf in Whangaparapara Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Steel Protection (1965) Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its administrators, successors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Whangaparapara Harbour, Great Barrier Island, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a concrete ramp, as shown on plan M.D. 10003, a concrete mooring block, as shown on plan M.D. 10027, and a wharf and concrete retaining wall, as shown on plan M.D. 10721, (the plans being deposited in the office of the Marine Department of Wellington) as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS
  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1968.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 6 dollars ($6).

Waipa County Council—Approval of Bylaws

NOTICE is hereby given that the Minister of Marine approves, pursuant to section 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, the Waipa County (Lake Waters Control) Bylaw 1968, adopted by the Council at a special meeting held on 21 October 1968, and confirmed on 18 November 1968.
The Waipa County (Lake Waters Control) Bylaw 1968 shall take effect from 18 December 1968.

Licensing Gisborne-Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Tatapouri Beach

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licences and permits Gisborne-Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club (Incorporated) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its administrators, successors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Tatapouri Beach, Gisborne, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11683 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS
  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. Every person who uses the boat ramp for launching any vessel and who is not a member of the Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club (Incorporated) shall pay the following dues to the Club:
    (a) For each time a vessel is launched, 30c.
    (b) For a season authority issued for a period of 2 weeks, $3.50.
    (c) For a commercial fisherman annual authority, $40.
  3. There shall be free use and access for payers of dues upon payment of the prescribed dues and free liberty at all reasonable times to use the boat ramp.
  4. The revenue from the dues shall be used for the maintenance and improvement of the boat ramp and amenities directly related to it, and to meet supervision and administrative costs.
  5. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1968.
  6. The premium payable by the licensee shall be 2 dollars ($2) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10).

Revoking Foreshore Licence for Boat Ramp Site at Tatapouri Beach, Gisborne

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted on 4 December 1963*, to the Gisborne Yacht Club (Incorporated), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Tatapouri Beach, Gisborne, as a site for a boat ramp, as shown on plan M.D. 11683, is hereby revoked.

Cancellation of Vesting in Hobson County Council and Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Hobson and revokes the reservation as a reserve for a site for a public hall over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
