Branding Registration District of Wellington Defined and Registration Office for District Appointed (Notice No. Ag. 10352)

PURSUANT to section 70 of the Animals Act 1967, it is hereby declared that the branding registration district of Wellington shall be as defined in the Schedule hereto, and the place named in the said Schedule is appointed to be the registration office for the said district.

ALL that area comprising the County of Hutt, as constituted from time to time, and the islands of Kapiti, Mana, and Somes, and including the City of Wellington and all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area. Levin Registration Office.

Specifying the Gear Meat Co. Ltd., as the Controlling Authority of the Taumarunui Abattoir (Notice No. Ag. 10354)

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1964 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, notice is hereby given that the Gear Meat Co., Ltd. shall be the controlling authority of the Taumarunui Abattoir. The appointment of the Taumarunui Borough Council is hereby revoked.

Appointment of Wharves at Wellington

PURSUANT to section 28 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs hereby revokes the following existing appointment of wharves, appointed in the New Zealand Gazette, Thursday, 15 August 1968, No. 50, p. 1350.
Those portions of the foreshore and harbour works within the Port of Wellington which are to the seaward side of the red line as delineated on the plan marked 5309 (T. 3132), deposited with the Comptroller of Customs at Wellington
and hereby appoints the following as wharves for the lading and unlading of goods
Those portions of the foreshore and harbour works which are to the seaward side of the red line as delineated on the plan marked 5401 (T. 3132/A), deposited with the Comptroller of Customs at Wellington.

Appointment of Sufferance Wharf at Wellington

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs hereby appoints the area adjoining the western wall of Wellington Harbour Board 49 Shed and bounded on the south by the wharf gates and fence, on the west by the building line, and on the north by the rail tracks, as shown on Wellington Harbour Board Plan 5401 (T. 3132/A) within the limits of the Port of Wellington, as a sufferance wharf for the lading and unlading of
(a) the following items of which no single unit of cargo weighs less than 1 ton, viz, motor vehicle parts, steel plates, angles and sections, pipes, pieces of machinery; and
(b) the following items of which no single unit of cargo weighs less than 1 half-ton, viz, piles, poles, or pieces of timber.
