Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice is now subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act, 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1968, No. 4.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 79—Public Inquiry into Import Duties and Import Licensing as Affecting Toggle Clamps

  1. In accordance with paragraph 5 of Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 72, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 September 1968, No. 58, p. 1614, it is hereby notified that a public inquiry will be conducted into the matters referred to in notice No. 72 relating to duties and import licensing in respect of toggle clamps falling within Tariff item 82.04.19.

  2. The public inquiry will commence at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, 27 February 1969, in the Boardroom, First Floor, New Zealand Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.

  3. Any person who intends to tender evidence should comply with the “Notes for Guidance of Witnesses”, which have been compiled by the Board. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the under-named.

  4. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered, compiled in accordance with these notes, should be lodged with the under-named not later than Thursday, 13 February 1969. Each statement will need to be presented, under oath, at the public inquiry by the person tendering it.
