Season Tickets for Young People Not Exceeding 21 Years of Age

From the heading of this section delete “Not Exceeding” and substitute “Under”.

Omit paragraph 1 and substitute:

Young people’s season tickets at three quarters the rate for season tickets (section 14) will be issued to persons whose age at the commencement of availability of the ticket is under 21 years, subject to the following conditions:

Application in the following form shall be lodged within a reasonable period prior to the time the ticket is required for use and the certificate of birth or certificate of date of birth duly endorsed with the applicant’s signature for inspection:

I (a) . . . . . . . herby certify that I reside at (b) . . . . . . ., and that my present age is (c) . . . . . . . years . . . . . . . months.

I hereby request that a second-class monthly season ticket at three quarters rate available between (d) . . . . . . . and (d) . . . . . . . be issued to me in pursuance of the condition in that behalf contained in the General Scale of Charges.

Bulk Travel Vouchers

Paragraph 1: The rates scheduled in this paragraph are increased by 5 percent. The rates so calculated are then rounded to the nearest dollar.

Reserved Seats

Paragraph 1 (b): Omit this sub-paragraph, and substitute:

1 (b) Seats will not be reserved for any journey to be made between any two stations within a suburban area for holders of tickets issued under the provisions of sections 5 or 32.

Restrictions on Travel by Specified Trains

Paragraph 2: Omit this paragraph, and substitute:

Concession Ticket Restrictions—(a) Tickets issued under the provisions of the following sections are not available for travel by—

(i) Night “Limited” express trains between Wellington and Auckland.
(ii) Railcar services between Christchurch and Dunedin.
