A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedules hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of November 1968.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Wakefield to the Purposes of Road

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waimea County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 39.3 Railway land adjoining part Section 193 and Section 201 (formerly part Section 193), District of Waimea South, situated in Block XVI, Wai-iti Survey District, Waimea County (S.O. 10742).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 22883 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of November 1968.
