CORRIGENDUM

In the notice dated the 1st day of August 1968 and published
in Gazette, 12 September 1968, No. 57, p. 1570, declaring land
taken for road in Block III, Taupeka West Survey District,
for the words “Taupeka West” which appear in the heading
and Schedule thereto read “Tuapeka West”, which last-
mentioned description appears in the notice signed by the
Minister of Works.

Crown Land Set Apart for the Purposes of the Maori
Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment
Act 1938, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of
the Maori Housing Act 1935.

Revoking a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a
Transmission Line in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Christchurch
Survey District, viz, the Islington-Papanui 66kV Trans-
mission Line (Waitaki Power Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation, dated the 23rd day of August
1950, and published in the Gazette on the 31st day of the
same month at page 1644, defining the middle line of a trans-
mission line in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Christchurch Survey
District, viz, the Islington-Papanui 66kV Transmission Line
(Waitaki Power Scheme), in so far as it affects the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

A line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of
the road running north-west from Gilbenthorpes Road
through Rural Section 5993, Islington, the said point being
distant approximately 1,627 links from the northern roadside
junction of the above roads, in Block IX, Christchurch Survey
District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 5 miles 12 chains
and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc.,
viz: parts Rural Sections 5993 and 6131, Reserve 320, part
Rural Section 4463, Lot 1, D.P. 9990, being part Rural Section
4463, part Rural Section 4463, Lot 2, D.P. 9514, being part

a point on the north-western side of Greers Road, between
Wairakei Road and Harewood Road, the said point being
distant approximately 1,413 links from the south-western
corner of the intersection of the said Greers Road with
Harewood Road, in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District;
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in
the Canterbury Land District. As the same is delineated by a
red line on the plan marked P.W.D. 131154, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
14th day of October 1968.
