OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $8,000 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of building or purchasing a staff house, the said Opotiki
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
point nought six eight of a cent (.068c) in the dollar ($)
upon the rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki; and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the
1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Opotiki Borough Council held on the 7th day of October
1968.

POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of seventy-six thousand dollars ($76,000)
authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power
Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of
a portion ($60,000) of the extensions loan 1955 of $300,000,
and the outstanding liability in respect of a portion ($100,000)
of the Extensions Loan 1958, of $200,000, the Poverty Bay
Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special
rate of decimal nought nought seven one (.0071) of a cent
in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in that portion of the Poverty
Bay Electric Power District as is contained in the Cook County
(including the Patutahi Town District), Waikohu County,
Waiapu County, and the City of Gisborne, and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Ngongotaha Water Supply Supplementary Loan 1968, $13,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $13,900 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of completing the purpose for which the Ngongotaha
Water Supply Loan 1965, of $139,000, was sanctioned, the
said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.063c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value
of all rateable property of the Ngongotaha County Town
District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of August in each and every year, being a
period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Rotorua County Council held on the 8th day
of October 1968.

MARLBOROUGH ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development Loan 1968, $390,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Electric Power Board’s Act 1925, and all other powers it
thereunto enabling, the Marlborough Electric Power Board
hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of
principal, interest, and other charges of the Board’s Develop-
ment Loan 1968, $390,000, authorised to be raised by the
Marlborough Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned
Acts for the purpose of supply and distributing electricity for
the benefit of the Marlborough Electric Power Board district,
the Marlborough Electric Power Board makes and levies a
special rate of forty-eight thousandths of one cent (.048c) in
the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) on all rateable property in the Marlborough
Electric Power district; such special rate to be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be
payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every
year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of
fifteen (15) years or until the loan is repaid.
