Revoking a Declaration Setting Apart Land Held for a Public Works Depot for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Blenheim

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the Declaration dated the 18th day of March 1968 and published in Gazette, 4 April 1968, at page 540, declaring land held for a public works depot to be set apart for buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Blenheim, such land being no longer required.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road and for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block I, Tokata Survey District, being Land Required for the Improvement of the Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa State Highway No. 35 in the Whitianga Block Section

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby required to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby required to be taken for the use, convenience or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Kaha and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block 1, Tokata Survey District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block I, Pihanga Survey District, Taumarunui County, for a Quarry and for a Metal Pit

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute certain public works, namely the construction of a quarry and a metal pit respectively, adjacent to Otukou Maori School, on Tongariro power scheme access road No. 5, and, for the purposes of such public works, the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Turangi and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with the notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Pihanga Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

Licensing Jacksons Bay Light Craft Association to Occupy Sites for a Jetty and Aircraft Landings at Cascade Creek

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits David Edward Buchanan, Robert Bruce Buchanan, William Arthur Buchanan, Charles Peter Eggeling, and Richard John Eggeling, trading under the style or title of Jacksons Bay Light Craft Association (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Cascade River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9766 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and aircraft landing sites as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1968.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10).

Cancellation of the Vesting in the New Plymouth City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New Plymouth and revokes the reservation for aerodrome purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—TARANAKI COUNTY

SECTION 150, Waitara West District, situated in Block II, Paritutu Survey District, and being all the land in Proclamations 1593 and 1422, Taranaki Land Registry: area, 183 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less (S.O. Plans 7848 and 8038).

Section 17, Bell District, situated in Block II, Paritutu Survey District, and being all the land in Proclamation 1822, Taranaki Land Registry: area, 51 acres and 15 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 8423).

Section 149, Waitara West District, situated in Blocks II and III, Paritutu Survey District: area, 13 acres and 25.4 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 8735).
