Street Closed and Added to Land Held for State Housing
Purposes in the Borough of Birkenhead

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims that the street
described in the First Schedule hereto is closed and added to
the land held for State housing purposes described in the
Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of street containing 1 acre and 3.8 perches
situated in Block XI, Waitetemata Survey District, Borough of
Birkenhead, North Auckland R.D., adjoining or passing
through Lot 58 and part Lots 54, 63, and 64, D.P. 1675; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 22499 (S.O. 45635) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 13 acres and 36 perches
situated in Block XI, Waitetemata Survey District, Borough
of Birkenhead, North Auckland R.D., being Lot 58, D.P.

to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto together with a right of way reserved
by T. 83147, Otago Land Registry, and subject to conditions
contained in Dunedin City Council consent endorsed thereon
together with and subject to party wall rights granted by
T. 90626, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for a university
from and after the 30th day of September 1968.
