Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Raglan County
Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a
reserve for recreation purposes; and, further, pursuant to the
Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the
Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Raglan, in trust, for that purpose. This notice is issued in
substitution for the notice published in Gazette, 19 October
1967, p. 1828, in which the area was incorrectly shown as
2 roods 16 perches, and that notice is hereby cancelled.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Westland
(Notice No. Ag. 10278)

Pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and
to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under
section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the
purpose of the said section, the following special order, made
by the Westland County Council on the 23rd day of May
1968, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

That the Westland County Council, in exercise of the powers
in that behalf, vested in it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds
Act 1950, declare that the under-mentioned plants be declared
noxious weeds within the County of Westland:

Californian thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).

Waimarino County Council on the 18th day of July 1968, is

That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3
of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waimarino County
Council resolves, by way of special order, that the plant
named in the Schedule hereto be declared a noxious weed
within the County of Waimarino.
