Notice Calling Final Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Egmont Box Co. Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held in the supper room of the War Memorial Hall, Miranda Street, Stratford, on Friday, the 30th day of August 1968, at 12 noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidators.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:

“That the books and papers of the company and of the liquidators shall be handed to the Kiwi Co-operative Dairies Ltd. for safe-keeping”.

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an ordinary resolution, namely:

“That any balance in the shareholders’ distribution account, after the payment to the shareholders of the additional 5.88d. (4.9c) per share, be paid to the Federation of Taranaki Co-operative Dairy Factories Incorporated, or to such other corporate body as this meeting shall decide”.

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of July 1968, presented to the said Court by ROD WEIR & COMPANY LIMITED, of Oxford Street, Levin, stock and station agents. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Palmerston North on the 13th day of September 1968 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928 notice is hereby given that the Waihi Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work namely, the widening of the intersection of Silverton Road and Johnston Street, at No. 1 Johnston Street in the Borough of Waihi; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Hazard Street, and is available for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, shall set forth their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Hazard Street.

SCHEDULE

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Patangata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and, for the purposes of that public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, such lands being situated at the St. Lawrence Road, Elsthorpe; and notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Patangata County Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said land, shall, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, by 17 September 1968, to the Patangata County Council at the above address.
