✨ Transport and Land Notices

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tawa Borough)
Notice 1968.
The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section
52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the
28th day of November 1958†, relating to a road in Tawa
Borough, is hereby revoked.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work in the Borough of Ashburton and the Ashburton County and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto
to be Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 1st day of August 1968.
