Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land, and an Easement over Land, Taken for a Public School in the City of Lower Hutt

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school from and after the 22nd day of July 1968; and also hereby declares that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, from and after the 22nd day of July 1968, the full, free and unrestricted right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for the servants, tenants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees of Her Majesty the Queen from time to time and at all times by day and by night to go, pass, and repass with or without horses and domestic animals of any kind and with or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery, and implements of any kind over and along the said land, and to maintain repair and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.
